1975-1984 Wax Heads

I made these life size sculptures between 1975 and 1984. They consist of a combination of different waxes and resins. The melted mixture was brushed over a substructure of cotton and plastic. A final thick layer was modeled by hand. The embellishments are beads, shells, glass, agate, human hair, synthetic wig, and a variety of other materials.
